Snow shoe hiking
2 times a week we organize snow shoe hiking. Among other things there is a tour to the Plätzwiese - Strudelkopf, with unique view to the DREI ZINNEN - UNESCO WOLD HERITAGE.
You can hire the snow shoes for free at the Hotel. For the Tour we ask a fee - service charge.

San Candido and Alta Pusteria offer more than 200 km of perfectly groomed cross-country tracks, and are part of the biggest cross-country association in the world, Dolomiti Nordicski (1,300 km of cross-country slopes in the Dolomites, snow guaranteed from 23rd of December and unitary fees).
Those who discover Alta Pusteria on cross-country skis are always amidst a beautiful winter landscape. The traces in the snow bring you to the Braies Lake or along secluded pastures. The cross-country stadium in Dobbiaco and the competition tracks designed for professional athletes show the variety of the region.

Tre Cime Card at the Hotel Rainer
June 14nd - October 5th 2013. The special guest card for your perfect summer holidays in the Dolomites of South Tyrol! With the Tre Cime Card you can use for free the cable cars, busses, trains and you have free entrance in the museums in Alta Pusteria. The price of the card is Euro 55,00 including Mobilcard (or Euro 44 without Mobilcard) / person. Children up to 6 years free if the parents have the card. For families (2 adults with children up to 16 years) the card costs Euro 139 including MobilCard (Euro 115 without MobilCard).

ECOLOGY – very important for us!;
In 2006 we build our own wood central heating. We provide hot water for heating – for our Hotel & Residence and other 20 domestic homes. We take wood from Alto Adige and the transport-way is less then 20km. You can visit our heating central every week during the guided tour.
Local products… what an enjoyment
Our chefs try to use regional products from Alto Adige. We like to support the local producers and farmers using there products.

Our conference room – with „monte elmo panorama“ is ideal for 50 people. We organize also kids cinema in our conference room.
