The massive peaks around San Candido and the many side valleys in the Dolomites invite you to mountain hikes and walks. Choose from gentle walks in the valleys around San Candido, fascinating high routes and tours around the summits of the Sesto Dolomites and the Three Peaks hike. Don’t forget to take a break, admire the beautiful mountainscape and enjoy a refreshment stop in one of the Alpine huts on your hikes in San Candido. Or walk along a stretch of the Jacob’s path that leads from Prato alla Drava via Monguelfo and Brunico to Abbazia di Novacella. r_icon_thumb Climing in the Dolomites Alta Pusteria is an Eldorado for mountain enthusiasts. Visitors from around the globe travel to South Tyrol to see and to climb the mountains. The via ferratas in particular attract passionate climbers, not least because they are the most spectacular and most beautiful ones in the Alps. But it doesn’t always have to be a steep face: in the climbing crag Landro at the idyllic Lago di Landro in Valle della Rienza you can develop strength and stamina. The climbing centres in Dobbiaco and Sesto offer further opportunities for training.
